Beer Tasting 17 January

Our next beer tasting session is taking place on Friday 17 January at Beer Head in Naxxar. We will showcase some of our latest beers from two different Swedish breweries, Stigbergets and Poppels, both small breweries from the Gothenburg region.

This beer tasting sessions lasts around 2-2.5 hours and is a guided tasting. Expect to taste six different styles of beers in one sitting and food is included in the price.

The aim is to experience new flavours, learn about new beer styles and craft breweries, and socialise with fellow foodies and beer lovers! Expect a few surprises during the tasting in terms of flavours and alcoholic strength!

Menu for Friday 17 January:

1 – Welcome Beer Cocktail – Beer Head signature cocktail: Rum n Strawberry Sour

Bar snacks

2 – Poppels English IPA 5.6%

Paired with rich cheese such as Parmesan / Old Amsterdam

3 – Stigbergets Mega Muffin 7.5% NEIPA

Warm Nachos w/cheese, salsa verde, guacamole sauce, jalapeno

4 – Poppels Double IPA 8%

Hot Dog w/sweet pickle relish, habanero mustard, crispy onions

5 – Poppels London Porter 4.9%

6 – Stigbergets Peanuts! 12.5% Imperial Stout

15cl serving of each beer.

We reserve the right to pour more for eager drinkers but this is would be ex gratia and purely at our discretion. The six beer servings are intended to provide the participant with a good buzz once all six beers have been consumed. We are very used to these beers with an elevated alcohol level and the bar is open for those that would like to consume more.

We also provide a 10% discount to all beer tasting participants on take-home purchases.
