Lime Crime

How about a lemon meringue pie in a bottle? That’s what the Belgian brewery Brussels Beer Project has done with Lime Crime, a light beer ideal for summer, brewed with lactose to give it a creamy texture. Citrus fruits provide freshness and a tangy edge, while hops support the fruitiness. The vanilla simply adds to the sweetness. When tasted, it reveals a golden yellow colour topped by a thick white foam that releases aromas of vanilla, malt, lime and citrus.
