MEGA DEAL – beer is past the BBD (since it’s an American beer, this only has the production date printed, and no BBD, but it’s quite old having been canned on 26/11/23). Still tastes good due to the strong alcohol level which preserves the beer over time (did you notice how strong alcoholic drinks such as wine and spirits do not have a BBD? This is due to their higher alcohol level).
This jaw-dropping Scottish strong ale (8% ABV) is brewed with a huge amount of malted barley and specialty grains, and a dash of beechwood-smoked malt, to give it a nice smokey flavour. If you’re into whiskey, then this is your jam. Think smokey, malty goodness. Pours a dark brown and is the type of beer you want to sip on whilst watching an epic movie!
