Spontaan Basil Gueze Rene Cuvee

The Oude Gueuze Cuvée René is one of our brewery’s gems. With its golden appearance, sparkling soft-sour flavour and sherry-like aroma, it is the gueuze for connoisseurs.Dezeude Gueuze is an assemblage of old and young lambic, aged in an oak foeder. The gueuze is then bottled in a beautiful champagne bottle where a second fermentation in the bottle then takes place. After 6 months, we get a golden-coloured gueuze, sparkling and mildly sour. If you store this beer for several years in a cool cellar, it becomes truly extraordinary!
